Railroad crossing diorama
The first of various diorama's to test various building techniques, the railroad crossing diorama depicts a seldom used branch line coming out of a tunnel. The track is rusted and the ballast is old and brown. The level railroad crossing is a small non-guarded one which allows a small dusty road to cross it.
Close to the crossing is a large tree with many shrines dotted on the floor surrounding the trunk. The scene of the tree and shrines is taking from a short little sequence in "Spirited Away", a movie by Hayao Miyazaki.
