Tokyo Station modules

A long term project, the Tokyo Station modules will be a "dynamic" series of modules based on the Tokyo Station layout and general surroundings.

So far there's only a general idea of what the station should look like. I like trains from all the different era's, and having them all on the same layout means there's a lot of variety. On the other hand, I really like the atmosphere and general feel of the steam era.

Either way, the modules will be designed in such a way that the track plan resembles the Tokyo Station track plan, but also in a way that they can be set up in 2 versions. A long version which allows for full length trains to be used, and a shortened version which allows the modules to be used even when space is limited.

All structures will need to be scratch built, and because the modules are dynamic, the structures will need to be dynamic as well. For the platforms that shouldn't be much of a problem, but there's a fair change 2 versions of the main building will need to be built. Of course this will need a good amount of planning, and before anything will be physically built, I plan to make a 3d model on the computer, using the correct measurements. Not only is it possible to plan ahead that way, but when building starts, I can use the 3d model as a blueprint for the final structures.
