Hailed as the "Swan on the Pacific Ocean" since its creation in 1930, the Nippon Maru in Yokohama reigned under the title until the year 1984. The Nippon Maru was a sailing ship that served as a training ship for novice sailors. It has been responsible for training several of the nations most efficient ship personnel between 1930 and 1984. It is currently moored in a specially prepared dock, and is open for the public.

The module will be loosely based on the actual Nippon Maru dock in Yokohama, with the centerpiece being a model of the Nippon Maru made by Aoshima. The model is approximately 65cm long, 15cm wide and 38cm high. Around the ship itself will be a museum building as well as a small fairground with several stalls and an operational ferris wheel.
