Force Impulse vs Gaia
Gundam is one of the best known anime series made. It is loved by many people, and in fact, it's popular enough, that for their 30th anniversary, they build a real life, full scale, 18 meter tall, partially moving statue in Tokyo. There are a variety of series, many of which are based in different timelines. From these series, I decided to pick Gundam SEED Destiny, the sequel of Gundam SEED.
Being fairly late to the Gundam craze, Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny were the first Gundam series I watched. I especially got attached to some of the SEED Destiny characters. A recurring theme in the series is a battle between 2 Gundam. Force Impulse, the main character, and Gaia fighting each other, with Chaos and Destiny never far off. Another reason to pick this series, is that at the time the Bandai SEED Destiny building kits were fairly new, and so easy to acquire ;)
The Bandai kits are actually quite amazing, and even though they're 1/144, they should fit in quite nicely with the Japanse 1/150 and 1/160 N-scale. They are posable, so it's quite easy to make it look like they're really in hand to hand combat. The detailing on them is also quite well done, especially considering their reasonable price.
The general idea of the module is, as already mentioned, to have Force Impulse and Gaia fighting each other near or over an elevated shinkansen line. Chaos and Abyss will be on the module well, either defending from attacks coming from off-module, or getting ready to aid Gaia. The general scenery will also be taken from SEED Destiny, so (as is becoming common with these modules) everything needs to be scratch built.
